As a licensed waste carrier (CBDL645216) we can take almost everything from a house, garden, office or building site. A few categories are handled differently, and a short list cannot go in the van at all.
Everyday items we take
- Furniture: sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs, garden furniture
- Appliances: fridges, freezers, washing machines, cookers, dishwashers
- Mattresses and upholstery of any size
- Household clutter, black bags, boxes, clothing and bric-a-brac
- Garden waste: cuttings, branches, turf, decking, fence panels and sheds
- Trade waste: timber, plasterboard, packaging, fit-out and strip-out waste
- Electricals and IT equipment
Items we price by weight
Dense materials weigh far more than their volume suggests, and disposal is charged by the tonne. These are quoted individually rather than through the instant price tool:
- Rubble, hardcore, bricks and concrete
- Soil and turf in quantity
- Tyres
- Safes, pianos and anything over 100kg
What we cannot take
These need a specialist licensed disposal route. Sending them with a general carrier is illegal, so we will always tell you rather than quietly take them:
- Asbestos in any form
- Paint, oils, fuel and solvents
- Chemicals and hazardous waste
- Gas bottles
- Clinical or medical waste
Your local council household waste site will accept small quantities of most of these from householders. If you are not sure what you have, send us a photo and we will tell you before you book.
